Greetings fellow fiends! As we stumble out from the wreckage that was 2024, let’s look to the future with the help of none other than our favourite Balkan mystic, Baba Vanga!
Who was Baba Vanga?
Let’s skip back to our 2024 prediction list with the same summery.
Baba Vanga was born Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova on October 3rd 1911 in North Macedonia.
She lived a fairly ordinary life and was considered a bright and intelligent girl who’s favourite pastime was playing a type of mystic doctor, where she healed her friend’s imaginary illnesses with potions.
That all changed when, at the age of twelve, a tornado swept through her village and whisked her away, leaving her in a nearby field. Her eyes were so full of dust and debris that she was rendered blind for the rest of her life.
In her lifetime, Baba Vanga became famous for her healings and mystic abilities, who’s predictions are thought to have foretold events such as the Chernobyl nuclear disaster and the death of Princess Diana.
Before she died, she left behind a catalog of predictions for decades to come.
2025 Predictions
- War in Europe: With the war between Russia and Ukraine continuing, we could say this prediction has already come true. With further instability in the Middle East, let’s hope the “widespread devastation” Baba Vanga suggested is kept to a minimum.
- Contact With Aliens: According to Baba Vanga, 2025 will see a particularly bizarre event – Aliens making contact during a major sporting event. While it would make an extraordinary half-time Super Bowl show, we’ll just have to wait and see with this one.
- Discovery of a New Energy Source: Baba Vanga predicted the discovery of a green and clean energy source that will change the industrial world as we know it. With developments in hydrogen energy, perhaps we’re closer to this discovery than we think. Or maybe it has to do with the Aliens.
- Lab-Grown Organs: If true, this development would revolutionise transplant surgery, lowering – or even eliminating – the risk of organ rejection, and save millions of lives. Science is inching towards this possibility, so let’s keep our fingers crossed for some good news.
- Telepathy: Apparently a breakthrough in the confirmation and harnessing of telepathy is on the cards for 2025. Converting brainwaves to direct communication sounds like the work of Science Fiction, but according to Baba Vanga, we best prepare for it.
- Climate Change, Global Famine and Political Tensions: Unfortunately for us, it seems these are ongoing themes of concern from Baba Vanga. What is also unfortunate is the fact that we are already seeing the real world implications of these.
What are your thoughts on these frightening predictions? We could argue that Last year’s listwas fairly accurate – although there’s been no attempted assassination of Vladimir Putin that we know of, there have been two notable attempts on the life of former (and future) president Donald Trump.
Only time will tell if Baba Vanga’s predictions for this year will come to pass.
